The “Contests Lab” Educational Non-Governmental Organization was founded in May 2023. The founders are from the contests department of the “Ayb” Educational Foundation, who, having been committed for years to the idea of promoting and spreading quality education, decided to continue the competitions’ activities and develop them as the legal successor of the foundation.
According to a memorandum signed on September 27, 2023, between “Ayb” and “Contests’ Lab”, the exclusive organizer of mass competitions and two team competitions—the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) and Legostart—in the territory of the Republic of Armenia is “Contests’ Lab”.
For many years, the “Ayb” Educational Foundation, as the founder of these competitions, organized and held a number of international and local large-scale school competitions annually, including:
- “Kangaroo” International Mathematics Competition
- “Meghu” Armenian Language Competition
- “Russian Bear Cub” Russian Language Competition
- Young Chemists’ Tournament
- World Robot Olympiad
- Student Chemists’ Tournament
Each year, more than 100,000 children and teenagers participate in these competitions, striving to become leaders, win valuable prizes, and have the opportunity to meet the country’s top officials.
Our team is also committed to the important mission of spreading quality education in Armenia and will continue the competitions’ activities, ensuring their development and expansion.
